World T'ai Chi & Qigong Day Approaches - Last Chance to Participate!
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is a global volunteer health education event.
On Saturday April 8th, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. local time worldwide, mass Tai Chi
and Qigong exhibitions will be held in public places around the world. The
founder of this event, Bill Douglas, has worked hard to draw global
attention to the profound, yet vastly underutilized, healing benefits of
these ancient arts and sciences. Please contact Bill at 913-648-2256,
taichismrt@aol.com for more information.
Please go to http://www.worldtaichiday.org/ to find schools that are
participating in your area.
Help publicize this event by e-mailing and calling your friends. Use the
power of the Internet as a healing force in our world.
If you live in the U.S., call your local public television station and
encourage them to air Canadian filmmaker Garri Garripoli's documentary,
Qigong: Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century.
As of March 26, 250 events have been scheduled worldwide in nearly 40
countries and 46 U.S. states.
